The YSR Congress Party has been accused of spreading false stories against the ruling NDA government and its members. One recent example involves actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna.

YCP supporters on social media claimed that Balakrishna bought 200 acres of land near Amaravati. They also suggested that this land is close to a second phase of land pooling by the government, implying that Balakrishna had insider information and bought the land before prices went up.

But here’s the truth:

The government has not officially announced any second phase of land pooling near Amaravati. The idea of a new land pooling plan is just a rumor, mainly focused around villages like Pedda Parimi and Harischandrapuram, which are already part of earlier pooling.

Meanwhile, the land Balakrishna is said to have bought is in Bandarupalli village in Tadikonda Mandal, which is far from both the current and rumored land pooling areas. Also, social media claims that Balakrishna bought 200 acres are not true. A check on the official “Mee Bhoomi” land records website shows he bought only about 37 acres, said one of the TDP leader. Even this hasn’t been confirmed by Balakrishna himself.

It’s also worth noting that Balakrishna is known for being responsible with his money. He runs the Basavatarakam Hospital with his own funds and hasn’t been linked to any scams or illegal land deals. He has a clean record and has never been known to chase after money or luxury properties even his father NTR was CM and later his Brother-in-law Chandrababu in the CM post for many years.

So, the story about Balakrishna buying 200 acres of land is just a made-up rumor—likely a political attack from YCP, with no facts to back it up.
