The series of revelations made by BJP MP CM Ramesh against KTR has sparked a new wave of political discussion in Telangana. His public statements about KTR visiting his residence to discuss a possible BRS merger with the BJP, along with his political commentary, are now focal points in the state’s political landscape.
CM Ramesh claimed that KTR had expressed strong dislike toward the Kamma community during an informal meeting between the two six months ago.
According to Ramesh, KTR allegedly said that BRS would never support or encourage the Kamma community and that they were entirely against them.
The BJP MP further quoted KTR as saying, “The Kamma community supports Chandrababu, but we have no intention of catering to them. Many Reddy leaders who were with us left after the electoral loss and are now with Revanth Reddy. The only leader who remains with us is YS Jagan.”
Ramesh stated publicly that KTR expressed extreme animosity toward the community while still maintaining cordial ties with Andhra Pradesh leader YS Jagan. He also revealed that he had advised KTR not to harbor or express such hatred toward an entire community, saying it is wrong to target any particular segment of the population with such disdain.
