AP Deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan has been the chief instigator of the propagation of Hindi language in South India. He has been actively advocating in support of Hindi language and has been calling for the public to actively learn the language.

Incidentally, this narrative was opposed by BRS working president KTR, who urged the Delhi bosses to stop imposing Hindi language. He also ridiculed the point about Hindi being the national language as he confidently said that is not the case.

In an indirect retort to the statement from KTR, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan said “Certain leaders in Telangana are antagonising Hindi language. I don’t understand their real intentions. Perhaps I think their hate for BJP and Modi is rubbing on the Hindi language. I used to learn Hindi as my second language in school, and there was no problem then. But all of a sudden, there is a lot of pushback on the language now.”

While Pawan obviously did not name KTR in his statement today, the implication is very clear as he didn’t react kindly to KTR saying Hindi is not the national language of India. Also, he made a strong point by publicising that the hate for Modi and BJP is rubbing onto Hindi propagation, which is not the right thing to do.

It appears that Kalyan is very firm on the propagation of the Hindi language as he has been actively calling for the propagation of the same.
