The iconic Jubilee Hills election campaign is finally done and dusted. It is the ruling Congress party which has successfully claimed the seat which earlier belonged to the BRS party.

In this context, chief minister, Revanth Reddy, addressed the media for the first time after the historic victory in the Jubilee Hills constituency and here’s what he said.

“This is a strong token from the public that they are fully backing us(Congress government). This amplifies our responsibility to continue with the development memorandum and welfare medium.” Revanth said.

When asked to comment on the prospect of defeating BRS, which is led by KCR, Revanth had a peculiar reaction.

“There is no point in talking about KCR, who is not active in politics. I don’t have the intention to speak about someone who has moved away from active politics. I believe KCR’s health is also not supporting him to be active. In his absence, KTR and Harish Rao are trying to grab his chair and let them fight it out between them.” Revanth said.

While many people expect Revanth to post of his victory against BRS in their own sitting seat, the CM selectively moved away from it and paid respect to KCR, who is not very active in Telangana politics these days.

Revanth had an interesting suggestion to KTR as he said “KTR is still younger than me, and we need to be active in politics for many years. My advice to him is to tone down on arrogance and ego.”
