AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has officially confirmed that Andhra Pradesh has attracted ₹10 lakh crore worth of investments in just one year since his government took charge. Speaking at the launch of the ‘Swarna Andhra Pradesh 2047’ report in Delhi, Chandrababu revealed that the state is targeting ₹13 lakh crore in investments next year.

The report, prepared by a high-level task force led by Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran, offers key suggestions for economic and industrial development in the state. It marks a major milestone in the CM’s plan to make Andhra Pradesh one of India’s most advanced states by 2047.

During his speech, Chandrababu said, “Technology is now a game-changer. Today, governments hold valuable data about citizens. In Andhra Pradesh, starting August 15, more public services will be made available directly through WhatsApp. Also, a digital health card project will be launched from Kuppam.”

He highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s potential, calling it a land full of opportunities. Cities like Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Tirupati are fast becoming top destinations for business and innovation. The Chief Minister also revealed that Google is set to enter Visakhapatnam, giving a massive boost to the state’s IT sector.

To tackle poverty, the state has launched the P4 policy, which focuses on inclusive development through people-centric governance.

This announcement is being seen as a strong contrast to the previous YCP regime, during which the state reportedly struggled to attract major investments. With a clear roadmap, strong vision, and active efforts, the current government is aiming to make Andhra Pradesh a top investment hub in the country.
