It has been barely 11 months since YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was relegated from being the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh to just the MLA of Pulivendula after securing only 11 seats in the state election. However, a confident Jagan is already predicting a sharp decline in Chandrababu Naidu’s graph.
While addressing his party’s local leadership in Tadepalli today, Jagan stated that Chandrababu has already lost the trust of the common public and, regardless of when the next election is held, he will be taught a lesson.
“Whenever the election comes, Chandrababu will have to face the wrath of the public. The public will strike him so hard that he will end up on the opposite side after the election,” Jagan said. He implied that Chandrababu would go from a position of power to the opposition.
Then came the audacious statement from Jagan: he claimed that Chandrababu and the TDP would be relegated so badly that they wouldn’t even secure their deposits in the next election.
The fact that Jagan is projecting such a poor trend for TDP while he himself recently faced a similar situation shows a lack of self-awareness, a TDP supporter commented. This social media user further stated that Jagan has already lost touch with the public pulse, misjudged the recent mandate, and is still stuck in the same loop about returning to power.
