Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu is spending the night at the state secretariat to personally monitor the situation arising from Cyclone Montha. As the storm continues to move closer to the coast, the CM is staying in constant touch with ministers, collectors, and SPs from all the affected districts.
Chandrababu has instructed officials to ensure there is no loss of life and to take all necessary precautions to minimize property damage. He stressed that officials must remain alert through the night and coordinate with the Real Time Governance (RTG) center to respond immediately to any emergencies.
The Chief Minister is also holding continuous reviews with key departments, including disaster management, energy, and health, to make sure essential services remain uninterrupted. Arrangements have been made to provide food, water, and shelter to people in low-lying areas being evacuated as a precaution.
With the cyclone expected to make landfall later tonight, Chandrababu has decided to stay at the secretariat until the situation is fully under control, symbolizing his hands-on approach and commitment to public safety.
