Former chief minister and YSR Congress president, YS Jagan came on an ill advised visit to Guntur today without police protection and against the electoral code. He came out with the intention of trying to trouble the NDA government and it didn’t quite work out in his favor.
Incidentally, this poorly planned campaign is starting to backfire on Jagan himself as it appears to be landing him in a bit of legal trouble.
As per the latest reports, a police case has been filed against Jagan at the Nallapadu Police Station in Guntur, and this is regarding the violation of election code.
A police case has been filed against Jagan and other YSR Congress leaders, including Kodali Nani, Ambati Rambabu, Lella Appireddy and others who partook in the public event today. Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and Nandigama Suresh are also named in the case.
The clear instruction for Jagan was to stay away from the public event today, due to the existence of the electoral code in view of the upcoming MLC election. But Jagan was reluctant on this matter, and he anyway wanted to make it happen with the meeting in Guntur today.
Subsequently, he finds himself in legal trouble with this police case, and also a few other main personalities associated with his party are also under legal radar.
