Andhra Pradesh is currently on its revival trajectory as companies are lining up again after the onset of the NDA government in 2024. Things are looking so very promising for Andhra Pradesh that the companies which left in 2019, due to Jagan’s monopolistic policies are slowly coming back.

Now it is the turn of India’s biggest wind energy company to return to Andhra Pradesh and restart their operations here at a large capacity.

Reportedly, India’s largest wind turbine manufacturer Suzlon has restarted operations in ap state and opening a new chapter in wind energy manufacturing and jobs. Suzlon, already powering about 40% of AP’s wind capacity, has committed to scale rapidly in the state.

A large rotor blade manufacturing facility at Kuderu, Anantapur, positioning is now being established to meet soaring domestic demand in a global blade market projected above $50B.

Further, Tata Power–Suzlon have announced a ₹6,000 crore, 700 MW wind project, the first major wind project in AP since 2019, marking a milestone revival of the state’s green energy dream. This is also in tune with the fact that chief minister Chandrababu aspires to see Andhra Pradesh as the hub of renewable energy in India.
