Being the son of Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh enjoys a rich lineage not just in Andhra Pradesh, but also in national politics. This was evident in the case of Narendra Modi calling Lokesh for a private meeting in Delhi that lasted two hours.
This is precisely the point in time where Lokesh is transitioning from a young scion to the next big thing in politics. This premise between 2024 to 29 is going to be very crucial in establishing him as the face of Telugu Desam.
Lokesh has already won over the cadres by his constant presence at the root level and interacting with the root level leadership. The stage is firmly set for his big insurgence in top leadership.
When the topic was brought up in front of Chandrababu Naidu, he had a very measured reaction while interacting with the national media.
“Lokesh is a very capable leader, and I have assessed this from my first hand experience. He has the dedication and compassion to make for a top politician. But again, he will have to prove himself in the toughest of times, regardless of the fact that he is my son. He will have prove to himself at his own capacity.” Babu said.
Babu could have easily amplify Lokesh and labelled him as a fully moulded politician but he simply didn’t. He tried to humble Lokesh by saying he still has to prove himself and only then will his legacy start to build.
