One of the crucial developments in national politics happened today after BJP had earlier captured the long-eluding Delhi Assembly. The saffron camp successfully orchestrated the swearing-in ceremony of the new CM of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, and related activities took place.
Notably, the representatives of the Andhra Pradesh government, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, were present in the national capital for this political event as they happen to be the main allies of the BJP down south and were special invitees to the event.
Both Babu and Pawan were in the spotlight on the swearing-in ceremony stage as Prime Minister Narendra Modi specially greeted them with a smile, acknowledging their presence. Their interaction with the PM caught the attention of many, further emphasizing their strong political ties with the BJP.

However, this wasn’t just a courtesy visit from Babu and Pawan to the capital of Delhi, and there is a fair bit of political affiliation associated with the same. The primary purpose was to partake in the swearing-in ceremony, but there are also other prospects associated with the same.
Babu and Pawan are expected to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah later in the day together to discuss current political equations in Andhra Pradesh.
Once that is done, there will be meetings with other union ministers to discuss financial allocations and project grants to AP from concerned ministries.
Beyond the courtesy lines of partaking in the swearing-in ceremony, both Babu and Pawan also have state interests to discuss here in Delhi.
