Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu met Prime Minister Modi earlier in the day today. The main purpose of this meeting is to invite Modi to the Amaravati 2.0 launch project which is scheduled for May 2.

However, this appear to be the single point agenda behind this crucial meeting between the two political stalwarts today. There is more than what meets the eye.

Chandrababu revealed that Modi in New Delhi today and expressed solidarity with the Union Government in the fight against terrorism.

The horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam has left the nation anguished. No amount of condemnation is enough for such cowardly violence. The Government and the people of Andhra Pradesh stand united with the families of the victims. We pledge our full support to PM Modi Ji’s decisive leadership in safeguarding India’s security.

This crucial meeting comes at a time when Modi is preparing for what appears to be a very sensitive situation with regard to closure of Wagah Attari border, cancellation of Indus treaty and more.

Chandrababu himself is a veteran when it comes to dealing with complex situations. He is one of the most trusted administrator in the country. Earlier, he single handedly curbed the Old City riots in Hyderabad between 1994-2004. In a major power statement, he even stood in front of Charminar during the most complex of situations showing that he is a man of war.

Also, Chandrababu is largely attributed for cutting down the Maoist movement in Andhra Pradesh. In fact, he is even a survivor of a brutal bomb attack in Alipiri. So the experience of Chandrababu, when it comes to dealing with high security, arrangements and complex scenarios could have operated as a significant knowledge transfer exercise between him and Modi in the meeting today.
