Chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu did something very interesting yesterday while taking part in the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting along with his fellow ministers. He announced the rankings of Andhra Pradesh Cabinet ministers based on the number of files that they had cleared from June to December 2024.

Chandrababu himself ranked sixth on this list while he was followed by Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan at eighth and 10th positions respectively. These rankings quickly set off a new political discourse and led to several discussions on social media.

However, Chandrababu clarified today that these rankings are only for reference purposes and they are not intended to highlight or defame anyone. He noted that these rankings were published only to bring out the competitive spirit amongst the cabinet ministers and encourage them to be more proactive with file clearances.

Chandrababu noted that the people of Andhra Pradesh have elected the new government with 93% majority in the house with the hope that things will change from the previous government. In order to match the expectations set by the people, the government and the cabinet must be extremely efficient and hard-working.

Being the senior most chief minister that he is and decades of experience on his back, Chandrababu stated that he himself has to improve in these cabinet rankings by bettering his file clearance record. If the chief minister himself is saying, there is scope for improvement at his own capacity, this pretty much signifies that he is pushing each and every cabinet minister to give out their very best.

The chief minister stated that each and every promise made before the polls will be fulfilled, and he asked for continued contribution of the cabinet minister to streamline the process. He said a very entrepreneurial synergy with his cabinet ministers on the occasion.
