Chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu came up with a very interesting and attentive speech, while interacting with the cadres in GD Nellore constituency of Chittoor district today. This was when he addressed one of the burning issues related to the hard-working TDP cadres.

Babu publicly stated that it is a fact that he grew apart from cadres the over the last nine months since the election. He acknowledged that there is some clear gap between the top leadership and the hard-working cadres.

The TDP president further added that he is aware of the situation and stated that it will be resolved soon. “I personally will make time to meet with you all(cadres) at every public meeting based on the feasibility. There will be adequate efforts to bring the leadership in direct access to the cadres.”

Babu was very assuring about this topic, and said it will definitely be rectified in the near future itself. Not stopping there, the chief minister, further acknowledge the 2004 and 2019 electoral debacle as well.

“The reason why we lost 2004 and 2019 election is because of the fact that I was inaccessible to the cadres and the hardworking local leadership distanced from the party. I will not let this repeat again. I know that TDP cadres bleed yellow and they will give their everything for this party. The party will also do everything in its power to be with the cadres.”

About Chandrababu back in the day was that once he becomes the chief minister, he entirely focuses on running the government effectively and public policy, making and almost entirely ignores the party and local leadership. This might have made him a statesman for Andhra Pradesh but became a big headache later.

But this time around Chandrababu has identified the issue much much quicker, and he promises a viable solution for the same. It appears that the vintage administrator and party man in Chandrababu is back in full flight now.
