One of the infamous practices of the previous Jagan regime in Andhra Pradesh was the brutal verbal assault on women. It reached a point where even Chandrababu’s wife, Bhuvaneshwari who is an apolitical person was dragged into the verbal attack in the Assembly.
Incidentally, IT Minister Nara Lokesh addressed this topic during the ongoing Mahanadu event in Kadapa today.
“We have all seen the kind of humiliation women faced during the previous tenure. They even abused mothers in the Assembly (referring to the attack on Bhuvaneshwari), and now they are paying the price,” Lokesh said.
Lokesh further stated, “There’s this man who ousted his own mother and sister out of spite and hatred.” He indirectly referred to Jagan and sent a strong message regarding the ongoing feud with Vijayamma and Sharmila.
అర్థమైందా రాజా…!”గత ప్రభుత్వంలో శాసనసభ సాక్షిగా, తల్లుల్ని అవమానించారు.తల్లిని, చెల్లిని మెడ పట్టుకొని బయటకి గెంటేశారు.”– #NaraLokesh pic.twitter.com/pQjHGuLaLJ— FilmShlim (@FilmShlimOfficial) May 27, 2025
“Arthamainda Raja?” Lokesh asked, questioning Jagan about the consequences he is now facing for the disrespect shown towards women during his rule.
