As we had reported already, the Andhra Pradesh police department has started to proactively use drones for surveillance and tracking. Specially procured drones are being used for surveillance purposes to identify any sort of antisocial activities. This has cut down the physical stress in the police personnel.
In this context, something interesting has happened in Gudivada of Krishna district where a couple of Kulpreet were arrested for consuming alcohol in a public place near an educational facility.
Krishna District police shared a video in this regard and stated “The Krishna District Police are implementing strict measures to control crimes across the district with the help of drone cameras.
As part of this initiative, two individuals were found consuming alcohol in an open area behind an engineering college in the Gudivada region. They were identified through drone surveillance, taken into custody, and a case has been registered against them.”
The video of the drone surveillance capturing the two culprits is now going viral. Interestingly, enough, Nara Lokesh has seen the funny side of the story as he felt pity on the two men who got caught in the act. “Feel sorry for the guys relaxing in the fields. 😬 Can’t help, because the @appolice100 drones do their job.”
Dropping serious and statutory messages to make people aware of drone activity is one thing. But Lokesh has effectively used sarcasm and humour to spread awareness on this matter.
