The government of Andhra Pradesh is set to convene a crucial cabinet meeting under the leadership of Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu today. While the cabinet meeting is principally starting at 11 in the morning today, there is a lot of debate happening on the same already.
This meeting will be primarily chaired by chief minister Chandrababu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and IT Minister Lokesh.
One of the principal points that are going to come to discussion today is the upcoming round of land acquisition in the Amaravati capital region to the degree of 20,494 acres. The cabinet is likely to approve this decision, which would grant the CRDA the permission to go on with the land pooling prospect.
The Annadatha Sukhibhava program is also likely to come to discussion here in this meeting today.
Chief minister Chandrababu is said to be contemplating the prospect of construction of 4 international convention centers in the state in order to boost additional income sources to Andhra Pradesh.
It must also be noted that the chief minister had communicated the inception of the free RTC bus travel for women program from August 15. This matter has been already discussed by the cabinet but now that the implementation date is around the corner, we should see if this would come to discussion again.
