Kalvakuntla siblings KTR and Kavitha have been rumouredly at loggerheads over party related affairs for quite some time. However, the BRS MLC today condemned the Anti Corruption Bureau’s (ACB) fresh notice to former Telangana minister KTR in the Formula E case.
Addressing the media earlier today, the Telangana Jagruti President said that the ACB notice to our working president is nothing but political vendetta unleashed by the Revanth Reddy sarkar. We strongly condemn the Congress government for issuing the notice yet again. No matter how many conspiracies the Congress party hatches, we will continue to expose its failures in the public domain,” Kavitha said.
In its fresh notice, the ACB has instructed KTR to appear for questioning on June 16 at 10 AM in connection with the Formula E case. The ACB had previously issued a notice to KTR and summoned him for questioning on May 26. However, the questioning was postponed following KTR’s request to the ACB, as he had US and UK tours scheduled during that time. The ACB today issued a first notice since KTR has returned to Hyderabad.
The ACB had registered a case against KTR and senior Telangana IAS officer Arvind Kumar on charges of corruption in the Formula-E race, the most cherished project of KTR. He had appeared before the ACB authorities twice in January this year. The former IT minister also appeared before the Enforcement Directorate on January 16.
