In view of the prevailing situation between India and Pakistan border crossfire, the Pakistani media has been paddling a lot of fabricated stories and unverified reports. One of the primary narratives that was set by the Pakistan media is that they have gunned down five fighter jets belonging to the Indian Army.
While India has clearly communicated that none of their aircrafts have been taken down by the Pakistani Army, and all of them had safely returned to the base, Pakistan claimed a different story.
On this matter, Pakistani defence minister Khawaja Asif was interviewed by CNN and he was asked about the details of the 5 Indian jets that were gunned down.
Then the interviewer asked a straight question to the defence minister about the Indian Jets, he had a shocking vague response. He replied that social media is filled with posts about the neutralised fighter jets belonging to India.
When the defence minister was asked on global television about the details of the fighter jets, the fact that he referred to social media posts is becoming troll stuff on social media. The audacity of the Pakistani defence minister to cite social media posts as reference to military operation is grabbing eyeballs.
To validate his argument, Khawaja said “Even Indian social media handles are posting about five jets and their debris.” When the interviewer asked the defence minister to present any proofs on this topic, he referred to social media posts and videos which amused the interviewer as well.
