The five years of YS Jagan regime was marked with intense police action against Telugu Desam supporters and relentless pressure exerted on booth level cadres. But YCP appears to be of the false implication that this was a golden rule without any sort of political foul play.
Incidentally, this is again understood if we look at the latest statement issued by Roja, who tried to threaten TDP and Janasena cadres by hinting at Jagan’s ruthlessness in 2029.
“The previous five years of Jagan government was very silent and mellowed down. But after the 2029 election, there won’t be silent or sane angle in Jagan and his regime. Every action will be met with reaction and there will be consequences for every single TDP leader.” Roja said.
Roja tried to throw an application that the next regime of Jagan is going to be loaded with violence and vendetta.
Neutral observers are pointing out that these vendetta politics and reverse mechanism is the reason why Jagan and his party got relegated from 151 seats to 11 seats in the first place but they still don’t appear to have learnt a lesson from the same.
Moreover, the longer YCP ecosystem stays in this devolution about coming to power in 2029 and annihilating TDP, the more public mileage they could be losing. At the end of the day, public will decide the government based on deliverables rather than political, vendetta and violence.
