It is known that deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan has been on and off from the government duties in recent times. First, there was this illness that troubled him for a week, and this was followed by Sanathana Dharma tour and the trip to Maha Kumbh Mela.
Consequently, Pawan could not even attend the recent cabinet meeting due to the aforementioned reasons.
However, this void regarding the absence in government affairs reportedly came to an end today as CM Chandrababu and DCM Pawan Kalyan sat down for an elongated 1 hour meeting at the assembly premises today.
Following the completion of the assembly session today, the chief minister and deputy chief minister shut down for an elongated meeting that went on for an hour. Several crucial topics including the MLA quota MLC elections and also the implementation of the Thalliki Vandanam, Annadatha Sukhibava programs came to discussion here.
Adding to that, CM Babu made sure that the ministries of Pawan Kalyan, including the Panchayat Raj and forestry departments get significant financial assistance in the recent budget. This is also said to have come to discussion in the meeting today. This is seemingly a follow up meeting after the earlier briefing meeting that happened during the assembly session.
Nevertheless, today’s meeting between the CM and DCM is crucial when it comes to smooth functioning of the government administration and also the smooth operation of the NDA alliance.
