The ongoing budget assembly sessions in Andhra Pradesh have created history with the numbers presented by Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav today. For the first time in the history of Andhra Pradesh, the budget has crossed the ₹3 lakh crore mark.

The full budget presented in the Andhra Pradesh assembly today has an outlay of ₹3.22 lakh crore. This is the first time in history that the overall outlay has exceeded the ₹3 lakh crore mark.

Mainstream industries such as Agriculture and SC/ST housing have received the highest share of allocations in today’s budget.

The government is also spending heavily on BC welfare and the up-scaling of the Panchayat Raj departments.

Since the NDA government wants to focus extensively on the super six programs and development projects in the state, the massive allocations required a record-breaking budget this time.

It is evident that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is going all out regarding development and public policy-making projects this term.
