After a brief period of dullness, Andhra Pradesh politics has started to spice up again with the ongoing Assembly session, which began today. YSR Congress followed its usual approach by collectively walking out of the session after being present in the house for barely 10 minutes.
Today, YCP’s Duvvada Srinivas, who is quite an entertaining personality in front of the media due to all the personal controversies surrounding him, took the opportunity to target Pawan Kalyan today.
The YCP MLC pointed out that Pawan Kalyan, who used to make tall claims about questioning the majority and raising his voice for the poor, is now pretty much silent.
“This Pawan Kalyan said he would question anyone for the sake of the people. But today there’s no Thalli Ki Vandanam, Rythu Bharosa, or unemployment fund. Where is the questioning Pawan Kalyan now?”
The YCP MLC further added that Chandrababu paid Pawan Rs 50 crore every month to silence him and prevent him from questioning the NDA government at any point. This is a pretty serious allegation, and it remains to be seen how Pawan Kalyan will respond. If he remains silent, more and more YCP leaders may take this path and make abusive statements against him.
Another important point to note here is that Duvvada made this statement about the financial deal between Babu and Kalyan. But the real challenge for him is to prove this claim by presenting the necessary evidence.
