Not many Indian politicians can boast of the kind of experience and situational awareness that is observed in the case of veteran Chandrababu Naidu. Despite being active in politics for more than four decades, Chandrababu is all the more relevant even to this day as his house as the chief minister for the fourth time.

In this context, a leading national media portal “The Caravan” has come up with an innovative cover story on Chandrababu.

The February magazine edition of this leading publication has Chandrababu on its cover and the caption read “The discreet charm of Chandrababu Naidu.”

This cover story spends across the key accomplishments of Chandrababu, including the historic 2015, ceremony related to Amaravati inauguration.

“As Naidu showed Modi around, he looked like a student in the presence of the school principal.” A transcript of the story reads as Modi is compared to a student while Babu is referred to as a principal. This itself shows the kind of significance packed by Chandrababu not just at the state level, but also at the central level.

At a time when even contemporary politicians struggle really hard to make it to magazine covers, it is interesting that a veteran and a very well established face like Chandrababu is still continuing to make headlines even after all these years.
