The government of Andhra Pradesh led by chief minister. Chandrababu Naidu looks to be really motivated about implementing the Super Six promise that was made before the poll. But in view of the extremely fragile fiscal condition of the state, there are certain challenges associated with the same.

However, a determined Chandrababu Naidu chaired a meet in with the higher officials and finance minister Payyavula Keshav to work out the implementation model for the super six promises.

With the AP assembly starting on Feb 24, Babu and his cabinet is preparing for the announcement of the new budget for the financial year 2025-26. In a related meeting today, Chandrababu Naidu made it very clear to his finance minister and higher authorities that the super promises must be implemented from this year at any cost.

Flagship programs like Talliki Vandanam, Annadata Sukhibava, and free RTC travel for women are likely to get sizeable allocations in this year’s budget. Babu reportedly discussed the same in the high level meeting today. He is said to be working on Mission “Super Six” at an aggravated rate.

The earlier YCP government reportedly wiped away the state economy for the sake of DBT programs and on top of that, exhausted all money lending resources. This has resulted in a complex situation for the new government.

On one hand, Babu is having to allocate budgets for Super Six, then work on social infrastructure, and also devise the Vision 2047 document which requires technical expertise. Amidst all the permutations and combinations, allocating budgets for super six in this year’s budget is going to be a hugely daunting task for Babu and his men.
