Since Saturday afternoon, there has been a huge uproar on social media. Kiran Royal, the Tirupati in-charge of Jana Sena, has come under fire due to an extramarital affair & financial misdeeds with a woman from the city.
A video shared by the woman, revealing their affair, money, and gold that Kiran allegedly took from her, went viral as soon as it was posted. The incident quickly gained traction, particularly among YSR Congress (YSRCP) supporters, who spread the video and additional related clips across social media platforms. This controversy has been trending since yesterday.
Lakshmi claims that Kiran took around Rs. 1.20 crores from her in installments and has failed to return the money. Kiran, in his response, mentioned that he had returned part of the amount and still owes some. In the videos, Lakshmi also accuses Kiran of threatening her when she demanded the money.
Before the recent general elections, Kiran wasn’t much of a target for anyone. Eventhough Kiran expected Tirupati Janasena ticket, Pawan ignored him, but Kiran still stays in good books of Pawan. Following the alliance’s win, Kiran gained considerable recognition, particularly in Tirupati and across the state.
Around this time, Kiran also began targeting YSRCP more aggressively, which resulted in him becoming a target of YSRCP as well. Now, with the new scandal involving a woman, an extramarital affair, and videos showing Kiran allegedly taking large sums of money and threatening her, the YSRCP has intensified its attacks on him.
