After having spent several decades with the YS family, Vijay Sai Reddy has finally quit Jagan’s camp as he resigned to YSR Congress and quit politics for good. Sai Reddy was the most trusted associate of Jagan for many years, and he was given top position in the party, but things started to change in recent past as there were reports that Jagan was sidelining Sai Reddy.
Incidentally, Jagan did not react, kindly to Sai Reddy’s resignation. “Be it Sai Reddy or any of the three Rajya Sabha MPs who left my party, they must have had character and credibility in tough times, rather than bowing to pressure. This character is what decides the integrity of a politician.”
However, Sai Reddy is in no mood to stand with folded hands and take such harsh comments from Jagan. He has hit back at his former boss through his latest tweet.
“I am a man with character and credibility, even at a personal level. That is the reason why I did not succumb to pressure. I didn’t bow to any political pressure, I just decided to quit my political career.” Sai Reddy wrote.
Right in the first place, many people expected Jagan to react with empathy when asked about Vijay Sai Reddy, but he went against expectation and commented on the character of his former associate. This has evidently triggered Sai Reddy, and he appears to have given it back to Jagan now.
After having already lost the bill and support of his mother and sister, Vijayamma and Sharmila, Jagan now appears to be on the verge of completely distancing from Sai Reddy as well.
