The theatrical trailer for Nani’s keenly awaited crime thriller, HIT: The Third Case, was unveiled yesterday amidst much anticipation. With a family friendly actor like Nani playing a brutal and menacing role of this intensity in an A-rated movie for the first time in his career, the expectations for the trailer were sky-high.
Not disappointing Nani’s fans, HIT 3’s trailer unleashed a bloodbath on social media. Within 24 hours, HIT 3’s trailer amassed a whopping 21.31 million views and surpassed the total day 1 views of Rajamouli’s RRR trailer (20.45M), thereby occupying the tenth spot in the list of the most viewed Tollywood theatrical trailers of all time.
Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule’s trailer stands unbeatable in the list with a humongous 44.67M YouTube views in 24 hours. Guntur Kaaram (37.68L), Game Changer (36.24M), Salaar (32.58M), and Sarkaaru Vaari Paata (26.77M) are the other top five most viewed Telugu movie trailers of all time.
HIT 3 is the third installment in the acclaimed investigative thriller franchise. KGF actress Srinidhi Shetty plays Nani’s love interest in this Sailesh Kolanu directorial. Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni jointly produced the movie, which is hitting theaters on May 1st, 2025.
