TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory is considered to be one of the active producers of Telugu cinema. He is relentlessly trying to produce new films, irrespective of their results. However, he pinned all his hopes now on two movies – Mirai and Raja Saab. With Mirai hitting the screens this weekend, the producer hopes to make a comeback to success.

Vishwa Prasad is one of the producers who knows in and out of the movie industry. Earlier, he complained about the Film associations and gave examples of how producers are being exploited in the system. At the same time, his track record in the recent past is also not very great. Even in the last year, Vishwa Prasad scored back-to-back failures.

With Mirai gaining a positive buzz, the focus shifted towards People Media Factory once again. On one hand, Teja Sajja is actively promoting the film, and on the other hand, Vishwa Prasad is also trying to interact with YouTubers. During his recent interactions, Vishwa Prasad hinted at his upcoming lineup of movies.

Already, there is an internal talk in the movie industry that the projects coming from the PMF banner are getting delayed because of too many projects hitting the floors at a time, and with none of the released films attracting huge profits. In such a scenario, the production house wants a solid success, which is likely to happen with Mirai.

If Mirai becomes a hit, followed by Raja Saab for next Sankranthi, the production house will definitely be in a better position next year while promoting their upcoming slate.

In between, the production house is planning to release Telusu Kada, starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda in the lead role, introducing new director Neeraja Kona.

Additionally, Color Photo fame Sandeep Raj’s first theatrical outing, Mowgli, is also gearing up for a release this year. The production also has Maryada Krishnayya with Sunil, a film with Lavanya Tripathi, Goodachari 2 and Garividi Lakshmi in the pipeline.

On the whole, the production house planned 12 releases for the next year. But everything depends on how well Mirai fares at the box office on an immediate note. If Mirai clicks, it not only boosts the confidence of the producers but also gives additional hope to attempt big.
