Nowadays, it has become quite common for many young actresses in South India to attend openings of shopping malls, jewellery showrooms and other events. These appearances provide a steady source of income and help them stay in the public eye. Recently, actress Nidhhi Agerwal was invited to inaugurate a jewellery showroom in Bhimavaram, scheduled for August 10.
Visuals on social media showed Nidhhi arriving in a ‘on government duty’ vehicle in Vijayawada. This sparked a wave of speculation, with many questioning why an Andhra Pradesh government vehicle was used for her transport. The buzz intensified partly because Nidhhi recently starred in the film Hari Hara Veera Mallu alongside none other than Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The speculation quickly took on a life of its own.
Responding swiftly on August 11, Nidhhi issued a statement to clear the air. She explained that the vehicle was arranged by the local event organisers purely for logistical reasons. She had no involvement in choosing or requesting the government vehicle. The claims that the government provided her transport directly, or that it was linked to any officials, are baseless.
Nidhhi expressed that she values her fans and wanted to ensure the truth was clear to prevent further misinformation. Her statement underlined that the entire episode was just a practical arrangement made by the event organisers.
On the work front, Nidhhi Agerwal is busy with The Raja Saab, starring alongside Prabhas. The film is expected to hit theaters during Sankranti 2026, and fans are eagerly awaiting her next big outing.
