Director Buchi Babu Sana made a striking debut with the 2021 blockbuster, Uppena. He has teamed up with star actor Ram Charan for his next film Peddi. Touted to be a sports drama set against the rural backdrop, the shoot of this pan-India film is currently underway.
The story of Peddi is set in the rural parts of the Vizianagaram region. Even in the first glimpse, Ram Charan was seen delivering dialogues in the Vizianagaram accent. Meanwhile, it is now revealed that director Buchi Babu Sana approached popular YouTube channel Filmymoji to take inputs for the detailing of the Vizianagaram dialect.
In a recent interview, Filmymoji team member Sai Kiran revealed that director Buchi Babu Sana approached him after being impressed with his work on Filmymoji. Sai stated that Buchi Babu offered him the chance to assist in writing dialogues for Peddi. However, due to his ongoing commitments with Filmymoji, Sai couldn’t take up the offer. Still, he mentioned that he contributed a little to dialogue writing.
The clip of this interview is now trending on social media, with Ram Charan fans praising Buchi Babu for his commitment to authentically making the film with a lot of detail going into the writing.
