With time, the veteran actors must command respect for their experience in the film industry. But of late, a senior like Rajendra Prasad is losing respect because of his impulsive and careless attitude at public events. Now, he abused comedian Ali on stage. This comes in no time, after he similarly abused David Warner on the stage.

In recent times, there is no control over what Rajendra Prasad is speaking on the stage, and the way he takes people for granted is heavily objectionable. There must be some manners to carry on the stage and especially, when you enjoy a veteran actor status, it must reflect in the way you carry yourself. Rajendra Prasad need guidance in this aspect.

During the birthday celebrations of SV Krishna Reddy, Rajendra Prasad’s tone shifted from casual to controversial. He began with teasing remarks aimed at producer Achchi Reddy and then using an abusive word against Ali. Referring to him using an offensive slur in Telugu.

While some attendees appeared to laugh off the moment, many on social media have called it unacceptable behavior, especially coming from a respected senior actor. Rajendra Prasad also appeared visibly frustrated with the audience when they didn’t applaud his mention of recently receiving the NTR award.

His reaction—questioning whether the crowd had “lost their brains” and accusing them of lacking shame—only added fuel to the fire.

This is not the first time Rajendra Prasad has come under fire for inappropriate comments. He previously stirred controversy during the promotions of Nithiin’s film Robin Hood, where he made a seemingly insulting remark about cricketer David Warner. Although he later apologized, he is not learning from his mistakes.

Before that, he made unnecessary and irrelevant comments about the portrayal of hero characters in the movies, in the current times. Many accused that he is taking a direct dig at Allu Arjun and his Pushpa character. With age, Rajendra Prasad is losing consciousness and living in a false reality that everything gets accepted.

Many feel that senior artists should lead by example and maintain dignity on stage, regardless of their personal rapport with colleagues. Whether Rajendra Prasad addresses this controversy directly remains to be seen, but the growing backlash suggests that continued silence may only worsen the situation.

The audiences are in an opinion that even Rajendra Prasad tenders an apology now, he will repeat the same at a different stage on a different actor again.

Hope some industry big wigs fill some sense in Rajendra Prasad, else, he will remain a repeat offender in the minds of current generation.
