Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s box office run is not being discussed by anyone now. Although there was a hullabaloo surrounding the film’s release on the opening day, it all subsided by the second day itself. Even though there was a slight improvement in Saturday and Sunday bookings, it is still uncertain whether the film will perform well at the box office in the coming days. However, two other films are attracting the audiences now.

As per the reports on social media and going by the sale of tickets, Hindi film Saiyaara and Telugu dubbed animation film, Mahavatar Narsimha are attracting the audiences. Both these films posted good advance bookings for the weekend.

It is very clear that the audiences might have shown interest in catching up with HHVM if the film had gained any positive response. With no option left now, they are looking at other language films that are performing beyond expectations.

On one side, Saiyaara is gearing up to touch the 500 Cr gross mark at the box office. With lesser known actors, director Mohit Suri has done something extraordinary enough to hold the attention of the younger audiences and Gen Z.

On the flip side, Mahavatar Narsimha is being preferred by families and the kids. The availability of Telugu dubbing, animation factor along with the 3D viewing option is pushing the audiences to prefer this film during the weekend. Despite all of us knowing the story, the audiences still show interest for the experience it caters in theatres.

Time and again, the audiences proved the fact that they are ready to step into theatres but it is the films that must live up to the standards in terms of storytelling rather than offering mediocre content for heavy prices.
