The 71st National Awards ceremony took place today in New Delhi. All the winners across languages were present at the event and received awards from President Draupadi Murmu. The Complete Actor, Mohanlal, also received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema.
Director Anil Ravipudi and producer Sahu Garapati received the National Award for Best Telugu Feature Film for Bhagavanth Kesari.
Nandu and Prudhvi received the National Award for Best Stunt Choreography for HanuMan.
Lyricist Kasarla Shyam received the National Award for Best Lyrics for the Ooru Palletooru song from the film Balagam.
Writer-Director Sai Rajesh received the National Award for Best Screenplay for the film, Baby. PVNS Rohit received the National Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the song Premistunna, from the film, Baby.
Jetty Venkat Kumar, Niranjan Reddy and Prasanth Varma received the National Award for Best Film in AVGC for HanuMan.
Sukumar’s daughter, Sukriti Veni Bandreddi bagged a National Award for Best Child Artist for Gandhi Tatha Chettu.
