Kollywood actor Vishnu Vishal shot to fame with the blockbuster thriller Ratsasan. He is known for portraying challenging roles which garner critical acclaim irrespective of their box office outcome. His latest film Aaryan, which released last week, received mixed reports from Tamil audience. But, the actor is upbeat over his choice of scripts and upcoming films.

During the promotions of Aaryan, Vishnu Vishal opened up about the reasons for turning a producer besides acting in films. He candidly admitted that it is becoming extremely difficult for him to find producers for different scripts. He revealed that his film Gatta Kusthi was rejected by six producers and Ratsasan was turned down by twenty one producers. He also added that films like FIR and Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran found it difficult to find a producer.

The actor stated that he had to turn producer as he had no other choice but to pool resources on his own for movies which he need to act. He also expressed deep pain and discomfort over lack of support from actors and producers even after scoring a massive hit with Ratsasan in 2018.

Vishnu lamented that even after securing success with Gatta Kusthi and FIR, he had to wait for nearly three years to start his next film due to lack of producers. Vishnu said that it became very easy for him to release films after turning producer. He is also disappointed with the fact that none from the industry whom he admires called him and appreciated after his films succeed.

Vishnu Vishal made his debut in 2009 with Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu. He established his production house under the name Vishnu Vishal Studios and started producing films. He has lined up several films in the coming months.
