The much awaited film Kannappa, starring Vishnu Manchu, is all set to release on June 27. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Dr M Mohan Babu under AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, the film has generated massive buzz with its trailer, teaser and songs. Ahead of its release, a grand pre release event was held in Hyderabad.

Speaking at the event, Dr M Mohan Babu shared, “Kannappa began with the blessings of Lord Shiva. Everything happened through divine grace. I pray that Vishnu continues to receive the audience’s love and blessings. Every character in this movie is a hero. I thank every actor who contributed. Director Mukesh Kumar Singh has done a wonderful job. This is the story of Thinnadu, a tribal boy who became a great devotee, Kannappa.”

Vishnu Manchu said, “This is not my film, it is Kannappa’s story. When I watched the final cut, I could only say one word, wow. From the beginning, I believed Lord Shiva wanted me to tell this story. Music director Stephen Devassy, choreographer Prabhu Deva and many others supported me throughout. I must thank Prabhas for doing this film out of love and respect for my father. He is my Krishna, and I will always be like Karna, standing by him. Fame did not change him. His humility is what makes him special.”

He also praised Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Sarath Kumar and Shiva Rajkumar for being part of this vision. He added that his father is like God to him and this journey was full of struggle and faith.

Director Mukesh Kumar Singh stated, “This film is very close to my heart. I thank Mohan Babu sir for trusting me. Vishnu is a dedicated actor. No character in this movie is a cameo. Everyone has a meaningful role.”

Other speakers including Brahmanandam, Sarath Kumar, Madhu Bala, Arpit Ranka, and lyricist Sudhalla Ashok Teja also expressed their excitement and pride in being part of the project. They all agreed that Kannappa is not just a movie but a devotional journey that will leave a strong impact on audiences.

Kannappa is set to release on June 27 and is expected to be a grand success with the blessings of Lord Shiva and the love of the audience.
