Victory Venkatesh, one of Telugu cinema’s most loved stars, has seen his share of ups and downs at the box office in recent years. But with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, released this past Sankranthi, he bounced back in style. The film turned out to be the highest-grossing regional Telugu movie, putting him firmly back on the success track.

Riding high on this momentum, Venkatesh is making moves to cement his position further. In an impressive and calculated step, he is lining up four films within 365 days, and we bring you the details here.

First up is Mega157, the much-hyped collaboration between Chiranjeevi and hit-maker Anil Ravipudi. Venkatesh will be seen in a special song and most likely an extended cameo in the film, which promises to be a Sankranthi feast in January 2026. The film stars Nayanthara in the lead, with Catherine Tresa also playing a key role.

Next is his first-ever full-fledged collaboration with star director Trivikram Srinivas. While Trivikram penned the dialogues for Venkatesh’s cult favorites Nuvvu Naaku Nachav and Malleswari, this will mark their first outing as actor and director. Produced by Haarika & Hassine Creations, this family entertainer is expected to hit the sets in July and arrive in theatres by Summer 2026. Music will likely be composed by Thaman.

The blockbuster Drushyam franchise is also set to return. Following the success of Drushyam and Drushyam 2, which released directly on OTT, the third installment is being planned with a simultaneous Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi theatrical release in October 2026. The Malayalam version will commence shooting first, in October this year, followed by the other language versions.

Lastly, Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi are teaming up again for another Sankranthi entertainer, tentatively titled Malli Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, targeting a January 2027 release.

After years of uncertainty, Venkatesh is turning the tide with strategic choices and if all goes to plan, the next few years could mark the brightest phase of his illustrious career.
