Finally, Siddhu Jonnalagadda-starrer Telusu Kada’s theatrical trailer has been unveiled, and it turned out to be a major twist for the audiences. Until now, people had certain opinions about the film, and this trailer has changed everything, and on top of everything, it has also increased curiosity right away.
Directed by Neeraja Kona, Telusu Kada features Srinidhi Shetty and Raashii Khanna as the female leads. When it was announced that a lady director was going to helm a film with one hero and two heroines, it was assumed to be a regular soft love story. Even the songs and promotional material suggested the same. But the theatrical trailer changed everyone’s perception.
It introduces Siddhu’s character as a radical personality who would keep audiences on the edge of their seats with his hysterical antics. His love story with two women forms the main crux of the film.
In one sequence, the heroine tells the hero that she is feeling afraid of him, and then the hero replies, “Then, Be Afraid.” In another sequence, we get to see the hero asking a sobbing heroine to undress herself. In another scene, he is seen getting ready to make out with a heroine in front of another heroine. These scenes suggest the hysterical characterisation of the hero and increase the curiosity about his journey right away.
Despite being a female director, Neeraja Kona seems to have broken all stereotypes in presenting this story in the most unique way. The trailer itself showcases how challenging this story will be for a debut director. Instead of choosing a safe subject given her reputation as a leading costume designer, Neeraja chose a bold path and came up with Telusu Kada.
Until now, audiences had a certain perception about this film, and the trailer changes everything. It also makes Telusu Kada a different film from the rest of the Diwali releases. Due to this bold trailer and Siddhu’s fantastic antics in it, Telusu Kada is now expected to take a huge opening at the box office.
Produced by the People Media Factory, Telusu Kada is slated for worldwide release this Friday (October 17). Thaman S is composing the music for it.
