Young hero Teja Sajja’s superhero film, Mirai, is gearing up for its theatrical release on September 12, 2025. The actor is single-handedly promoting the film across the country. The trailer and other promos have generated a good buzz among audiences.
In an exclusive chitchat with FilmShlim Pro, Teja Sajja revealed a funny situation he had to face following the trailer’s release. “I took intense training and performed a risky live-action stunt on top of a running train in Sri Lanka. But someone simply wrote on X that it was bad VFX. People think it’s very easy to do VFX. They don’t know that it’s impossible to pull off such stunts in VFX within our modest budget,” said the young hero.
Teja went on to reveal that most of the stunts and action sequences in Mirai were completely live action. “There are hardly ten green screen shots in Mirai. “Yes, there are VFX shots in Mirai, but they are very minimal,” he added.
Talking about the challenges Mirai’s team had to face while filming, Teja revealed that they hired the train and the railway station for an action sequence and a popular tourist destination to film another crucial sequence. We also shot in the Himalayas, where we flew in helicopters. There was no guarantee that the chopper would land. We stayed in huts on the Himalayas in those adverse conditions,” said the talented actor.
