Sudheer Anand is well-known for small screen audience, and he also made his mark on big screen with 4 films he did so far. Today, his 5th movie to be directed by debutant Prasanna Kumar Kota and produced by Siva Cherry and Ravikiran under Vajra Varahi Cinemas, has been announced.

The title Hai Lesso resonates with the heartland, drawing inspiration from the familiar idiom found among the farming folk. The logo is a clever nod to its rustic roots, with its ship-shaped design and the inventive use of a female leg for the letter ‘S’.

The title poster’s mythological undertone is hard to miss. It shows a foot, ornate with gold trinkets, graces a lush leaf, beneath which lies a chilling sacrificial offering- rice, hen, goat heads, a display of ritual and reverence. A blood-stained sword in the hands of the protagonist suggests an undercurrent of divine wrath.

The film has its opening ceremony celebrated today. Nikhil revealed the title logo, to commence the program. Bunny Vasu handed over the script to the makers. The camera was powered on by directors Vassishta, Chandoo Mondeti, and Meher Ramesh, as VV Vinayak lent his touch by sounding the clapboard for the muhurtham shot. Director Prasanna Kumar himself directed the first shot.

Hai Lesso promises a gripping rural drama, featuring Shivaji, Natasha Singh and Naksha Saran, along with an ensemble cast including Akshara Gowda and Motta Rajendran, round out the promising lineup.

Coming to the technical team, Anudeep Dev provides the music, while Sujatha Siddarth cranks the camera. The movie is slated for a multilingual release, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
