Of late, the film industry is witnessing a new trend where the star-driven films are not entertaining enough, but the content-driven films are making much noise. Not just in Telugu cinema, but even in Bollywood, it is struggling to find success where the biggest of the big stars are finding it tough to crack the code. In a recent interview during the promotions of Mirai, actor Teja was asked to share his viewpoint on this transition.

Teja Sajja straightaway refused to accept that such a trend is ruling the roost. “It is impossible to say that the star power has declined at the box office. I will not agree to it. Today, all the young stars we have are putting in a great effort at the box office, and all their movies will generate a huge euphoria and madness. You will not believe me that the upcoming film we are going to witness will surprise everyone of us,” shared Teja, with a lot of confidence.

When asked further, he shared that the film he is talking about is OG, and it will surprise the audience big time at the box office. “Manam andharam OG kosam wait chestunnam kada, Tagalabadi Pothayi,” he shared.

Teja Sajja also admitted the fact that the star power in Telugu states always helps films, as the stars are striving hard to create films in a large spectrum, further creating employment for many.

Teja is promoting the film Mirai, which is scheduled for a grand release on September 12th. Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, the film is produced by People Media Factory.
