The much-awaited title reveal event of Superstar Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film, tentatively titled #GlobeTrotter, is all set to take place on November 15 at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The grand event will be streamed live exclusively on Jio Hotstar. As this is the first major promotional event for the film, there are huge expectations among fans and thousands of them are expected to witness the celebration live at the venue.
However, with the anticipation comes a responsibility. Fans attending the event should maintain discipline and act responsibly to make sure that their enthusiasm does not lead to accidents, damage, or any unfortunate incidents. It was also advised that fans should avoid taking children, elderly individuals, and women to this heavily crowded event. In the recent past, similar events have seen unfortunate mishaps, and thus, fans must remain cautious this time.
Last year, the pre-release event of Devara had to be cancelled after crowd turnout exceeded the venue’s capacity. As a result, upset fans damaged the property and created chaos at the venue. Although the #GlobeTrotter event is planned at an open-air venue, even a minor disturbance may cause stampedes or fights, resulting in serious consequences.
Apart from these, traffic can also be a major issue. Ramoji Film City lacks metro connectivity, and the other public transport facilities are limited. Meanwhile, the recent AR Rahman concert held there led to a massive traffic jam on the Hyderabad–Vijayawada Highway. Many vehicles were stuck for over an hour to cover a 3 km stretch, and parking delays lasted over 45 minutes.
The #GlobeTrotter event will witness a larger crowd, and thus, traffic management will be a serious challenge. Fans should plan everything in advance to avoid any traffic issues.
While the organisers and police will take all necessary precautions, a small disturbance can cause a big problem at the event. Hence, it is the fans’ responsibility to stay calm, cooperate with organisers, security personnel and police officials, and ensure the event happens smoothly and safely.
