Tamil star director Atlee always thinks big and grand. His penchant for grandeur and mega budgets was evident in the blockbusters like Mersal, Bigil, and Jawan. The maverick director has now taken his madness for mega visual spectacles to the next level with an ad film.

As per the latest reports in the Bollywood media, Atlee has directed one of India’s most expensive ad films ever made. The TV commercial was made for the Ching’s Desi Chinese brand, and it features Bollywood stars Ranveer Singh and Bobby Deol, and South sensation Sreeleela. The TV commercial will be aired soon, and fans can get to witness what Atlee has in store for them.

Apparently, Atlee has spent a staggering Rs 150 crore to make the ad film. Atlee has mounted Ching’s Desi Chinese upcoming ad campaign on a never-before cinematic scale and loaded it with gigantic sets, world-class VFX, and multiple locations. Incidentally, the Ching’s Desi Chinese ad campaign marks Atlee’s first commercial project after Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.

On the movies front, Atlee is currently helming the massive sci-fi fantasy thriller, tentatively titled AA22xA6, featuring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone. The film, produced under the Sun Pictures banner, is being made with a whopping Rs 700 crore budget, making it one of the most expensive Indian movies ever. The film will hit theaters in early 2027.
