Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan and Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi are the two major releases from the Tamil film industry that will clash at the box office during the 2026 Pongal festival season. Ahead of this theatrical face-off, it looks like team Parasakthi has sparked a social media clash by taking a sly dig at Jana Nayagan.

Today, the makers of Parasakthi took to social media to announce 15 million views for its first single, Adi Alaye, on YouTube. Sharing the news, the movie’s team wrote, “#Parasakthi First Single crossed 15 Million+ ORGANIC Views on YouTube. IYKYK.” People on social media are speculating that this might be an indirect dig at Jana Nayagan.

Adi Alaye was released on YouTube five days ago and received a good response from the audience. In a short span of time, the song crossed 15 million views. Meanwhile, by mentioning that the song achieved 15 million organic views and adding “IYKYK” (If You Know You Know), it appears they were indirectly hinting that Jana Nayagan’s first single, Thalapathy Kacheri, gained views inorganically.

Using such statement here seems to be an intentional dig by Parasakthi’s team, opined netizens. For the unversed, Jana Nayagan’s Thalapathy Kacheri garnered over 35 million views in three days.

Even if it was not Parasakthi team’s intention to target anyone, it is not appropriate to post such remarks as they trigger unnecessary fan wars between Sivakarthikeyan and Thalapathy Vijay fans. Already, Sivakarthikeyan himself has admitted to being a huge admirer of Vijay, and sparking such fan wars could make things worse between both heroes’ fans in the future.
