Actress Samantha attended the 2025 edition of the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) event, where she addressed the Telugu diaspora with a heartfelt speech. Known for her candid nature, Samantha turned emotional while recalling her journey and the consistent support she received from Telugu audiences over the past 15 years.

Speaking on stage, Samantha said, it took her 15 years to stand there and say thank you. From her debut film Ye Maaya Chesave, she felt accepted and supported. She shared that she never had the chance to express her gratitude all these years and that the Telugu audience made her feel like one of their own from the very beginning.

She also spoke about her new phase as a producer, noting that her first project Shubam received strong support from the North American audience. Samantha said that whenever she takes any decision in her career, her first thought is whether Telugu audiences will be proud of her. That sense of responsibility has guided many of her choices.

Recalling the success of Oh Baby in the United States, Samantha said she was surprised when the film crossed a million dollars in collections. She added that even though the audience may be geographically far away, they are always close to her heart. She thanked them for giving her a sense of identity, belonging, and emotional strength throughout her journey.

The actress’s speech was received warmly by the audience, many of whom have followed her career for over a decade. Her presence at TANA 2025 served as a reminder of the strong emotional bond between Telugu cinema and its global audience. Samantha’s words made it clear that her gratitude for the Telugu community runs deep.
