As per hindi media reports, Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan will hop on to yet another patriotic drama inspired by the novel ‘India’s Most Fearless 3’. Salman will be playing the real-life hero Colonel B. Santosh Babu who was martyred in action when he led the Indian troops confronting the Chinese Red Army during the Galwan Valley Clash in 2020.

Meanwhile, there seems to be rejoice in the faces back home after learning that Santosh Babu’s life is being resurrected on to the big screen. Netizens feel that Salman’s film is certainly going to be a fitting tribute to the Army martyr from Suryapet, Telangana.

Although the story is based on a novel, it is being written by Suresh Nair, Chintan Gandhi and Chintan Shah and helmed by Apoorva Lakhia. Salman will join the sets for a 70-day shoot which will take place in Ladakh and Mumbai in the month of July this year.

The Bollywood Superstar has been busy meeting filmmakers to decide on his next project ‘Sikandar’ which is initially thought of bringing on Eid 2025. Now it seems Salman has changed his mind to go with the army-action thriller. The untitled film is inspired by the novel ‘India’s Most Fearless 3’ authored by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh.

This is not the first time that Salman will be playing Army man. He earlier played a cameo as Army Havaldar in the film ‘Heroes’ (2008). Later, he went to play a RAW agent in espionage films like Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) which harp on the themes of patriotism, humanitarian values and cross-border peace.
