Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu has cleared many hurdles and is finally gearing up for a grand release on July 24. Days ahead of the release, the makers got a jolt from the government of Karnataka.
Yesterday, the Karnataka state government released a GO announcing a maximum cap limit of Rs. 200 for movie tickets in both single screens and multiplexes. Until now, there have been no restrictions on ticket prices in the state. As a result, many multiplexes in cities like Bengaluru and Mysore used to charge premium rates. However, with this ticket price cap, big movies will be affected in the state for sure. Hari Hara Veera Mallu is the first biggie that is going to hit the screens after the release of this GO. So, it is worrying that both makers are fans.
But if we look at the GO, it was mentioned that the price restrictions will be taken into consideration after 15 days from the date of its publication in the official Gazette, which means HHMV might be in a safe zone. Anyway, we would get more clarity once the bookings in Karnataka open online.
Directed by Jyothi Krisna and Krish Jagarlamudi, Hari Hara Veera Mallu features Nidhhi Agerwal and Bobby Deol in other main roles. MM Keeravani composed the music for it.
