Roshan Meka, son of seasoned Telugu actor Srikanth, is trying his best to gain foothold in Tollywood. After getting a desired launchpad for his debut film ‘Nirmala Convent’, which was produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna in 2016, Roshan took a long break before his second outing Pelli Sandadi hit the screens four years later in 2021. He impressed audiences and critics alike with his performances and dances in these two films. He is now looking for an outright blockbuster that gives a big filip to his career.

While his upcoming film ‘Champion’ is progressing at a brisk pace, Roshan has reportedly signed a new project which will be helmed by hotshot director Sailesh Kolanu who already proved his potential with the ‘Hit’ franchise. All three installments featuring three different heroes emerged as box office hits and made Sailesh one of the most sought after directors in Tollywood.

Sailesh is said to have readied a youthful romantic entertainer that suits Roshan’s age and mannerisms. The film will be bankrolled by leading producer Naga Vamshi under his Sithara Entertainments. Roshan will start shooting for this untitled film once he wraps up his sports drama Champion.

For Champion, renowned production house Vyjayanthi Movies is betting big by shelling out over 50 Crores which is a massive budget for an upcoming actor. The film is said to shaping up as a visual spectacle with high technical standards. Pradeep Advaitham is the director for this film.

With the backing of prominent production houses for his next two films, Roshan would be looking to make the most of this good phase in his career  and create solid market in Tollywood.
