Hombale Films is a Karnataka-based production house that is proceeding with an exceptional track record. Although they have been in the film production since 2012, it is the KGF franchise that truly brought them into the limelight. After the KGF franchise, they scored success with Kantara and then ventured into Telugu as well with the Salaar franchise. Now, they scored a huge success with the prequel of Kantara, titled Kantara: Chapter 1.

Vijay Kiragandur, the founder of Hombale Films, always ensured that his director and actors were comfortable. He gave them a lot of freedom to experiment and go to the next level of filmmaking without thinking about the budget and without compromising on the quality. Today, they are active and successful film production house across the nation, with their focus shifting to animation films as well.

Hombale carefully invested in subjects that not only have commercial viability but also repeated value for the audience. They most likely stayed away from softer and simpler subjects but focused solely on hard-hitting action dramas and action thrillers.

Hombale also ventured into Malayalam with the film Dhoomam, but it did not bring them enough success. But the two films of the KGF franchise and the two films of the Kantara franchise have become big hits. In between, the first film of the Salaar franchise also brought them success.

Hombale Films also tasted huge success with Mahavatar Narsimha. Although they did not produce the film, they presented it and made big profits. They will continue to present the other parts of the franchise.

Up next, they have the second part of Salaar franchise, third parts for both Kantara as well as KGF. They are also making a film with Hrithik Roshan, which will be their big bet in Bollywood.
