Rashmika Mandanna is enjoying the golden phase of her career right now. With her last film, Kubera, bringing her laurels for her performance, she is back in the news for reportedly signing the dotted line for ‘AA22xA6.’ Rashmika already did two films (Pushpa 1 and 2) with Allu Arjun and is gearing up for a third outing now. However, if she pairs up with Allu Arjun again, there is nothing special. So, the news in the tinsel town is that she will be seen in a negative-shaded character.
According to the sources, Rashmika’s inclusion in the project is almost confirmed as she has given her look test in LA already. Now, what’s interesting is Rashmika taking up a negative role that is going to put a litmus test for her career. But, Rashmika has always risen up to the challenges, and despite scoring duds, her choice of scripts has always brought her success.
Be it her first Kannada film Kirrik Party or the Telugu debut Chalo, Rashmika ensured that the story, somehow or other, revolves around her character. Even when she was a part of commercial films like Sarileru Neekevvaru, she either impressed with dancing skills or her screen presence itself. Meanwhile, films like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade unleashed the actress in her. On the top of everything, projects like Pushpa, Chhavaa, and Animal elevated her career at the box office in a big way.
What makes Rashmika’s career so special is the way she avoids routineness in her way. So far, she has not given her critics a chance to school her for appearing in commercial films just for the sake of it. Simultaneously, she was trolled for many reasons but she always contributed to the success of all her films. Most importantly, she picks characters that act as fuel to her career in stepping up constantly without getting stuck at a single phase.
Now, Rashmika is busy in Telugu and Hindi. She is doing female-centric films, titular characters, and is also working on some big projects. If this is not the right time for her to experiment, then, it will never fall into place. Actors like Soundarya, Meena, Ramya Krishna, and others earned fame for being the bubbly girls, glamour dolls, and also good actors.
But, simultaneously, they also played negative shaded characters which made them stand out from their contemporaries. The classic example for the same is Ramya Krishna’s role from Narasimha. As Neelambari, she shifted everyone’s attention to her, equally throwing competition at Rajinikanth.
Now, Rashmika has the chance. Allu Arjun is one of the top actors of Indian cinema. If he is going to romance Deepika, Mrunal and Jahnvi, she can happily throw challenges at him on the screen. That’s how she plans her career and take things forward in the direction where she may not meet success but definitely recognition for the effort she puts.
Well, as of now, neither her inclusion nor the deets about her negative shaded role is confirmed, but if she is going to do the film, then, there is no looking back. Upwards and Onwards!
